This wiki is far from complete, but I will not be opening registrations and enabling editing until I get the game to a more complete state. Once available, editing will require you to register for an account. I understand that one of the benefits of a wiki is that anyone can edit them, but anonymous vandalism is a PITA to deal with.

Weapon Extensions

Eternal Nova will provide the opportunity of customising your equipment. Rather than having to farm for specific weapons, each class's weapons will have customisable 'modules'. Each weapon is made of three module type slots:

  • The grip
  • The hull
  • The hardpoint

Each can be changed individually on a weapon. The type of the module must match up with the type of the slot (for example, you can't put a grip module in a hardpoint slot).

In order for a weapon to be usable, it must have all of its module slots filled.

Most modules for weapons will be sidegrades; the modules that come with a weapon will be effective on their own.

Module attributes

Grip

Grip modules tend to augment the user of the weapon, such as increasing the maximum GP.

Hull

Hull modules change the behaviour of the weapon, such as altering a specific Grand Art or how it attacks.

Hardpoint

Hardpoint modules are mainly used for increasing the damage a weapon deals.

Grinding Modules

To increase the effects of a module, you can grind it up to a maximum level of +10. Grinding a module requires credits as well as a specific type of material for the weapon type of the module. The formula for the cost of the grind is below:

(500 × intended grind level) × module rarity level

For example, when grinding a module with a level of +5 to +6 and rarity of 6*, it will cost 18,000 credits.

Grinding cannot fail, so as long as you have the materials and the credits, you can strengthen your modules without worry.
